For various reasons, our numbers are shrinking across the ages, along with our ability, due to lack of manpower, to carry on some of the work we have been doing for several years.

As a leadership we are of course very concerned and have been seeking God as to the way forward. We are also keen to make sure we are fully connecting and communicating with the whole Body in these difficult times.

Wednesday 28th September  will be an evening devoted mainly to prayer.  The battles we face are spiritual rather than physical and therefore it would be good, as a Body, to come together to pray about the way forward and try to seek out what God is saying to us, both individually and as a Body, and to ask His Spirit to move amongst us. Also it would be good to give God thanks together for the things He is still doing through us.

We will meet at Woodingdean Primary School at 7.45 pm

She has sent us a card expressing her thanks for all the support that the DBC body has given over the last months. Please continue to pray that no further problems arise and that her normal way of life can be restored – apart from a much larger dose of the love of God of course…

Dionne Walder has also expressed the same thanks following her own operation, so please thank God for his oversight in her situation too.

All are invited, but please make Sean or Rachel aware that you plan to come.

We really want these guys to feel special and we want to recognise the achievement, so the dress code will be formal, and the spread of food will be lush!!!

There are discussions underway regarding date and venue for when the evening services resume, but there will certainly be no evening gathering until early September.
