Matthew 14:29 - '"Come," He said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus.'
That's what 14:29 is all about. Encouraging and providing the opportunity for young people to step out of the boat and get their feet wet by discovering and developing their skills and gifts, taking an active part in serving each other, the church and the community.
Our Sunday evenings contain a mix of:
Worship, teaching, prayer, chat, food, games, sports, creativity & hanging out together.

2nd Sunday March 2009 - Stop the Traffik http://www.stopthetraffik.org/
The Youth congregation led the church in a service which focussed on issues of modern day slavery and justice, through the production of chocolate and other cheap foods as well as sex trade. We studied what God has to say on these matters in the Bible and how it applies to us and our attitudes and behaviour. We were challenged through song, reading, videos and discussion, over the selling and trading of human lives in our day, in chocolate production in Africa to the sex trade in this country and even in Brighton. We finished sharing a chocolate fondue prepared by the youngsters using Fair Trade chocolate. Who says church cannot be fun as well as challenging!
