Sunday mornings
There are 2 groups that meet during the Sunday morning service, catering for children aged between 0 and 11. The 2 groups are:
- Little Sparkles - Sunday Morning Crèche and Preschool age (under 5s)
- Jesus Club (School Years R to 6)
The two groups join in morning worship until about 11.00, when the children leave to join the leaders in their groups. Parents are welcome to keep their children with them during the service, but the groups are available to provide children with Christian teaching material suited to their age range.
We aim to do far more than just baby-sit your children. We want them to feel they are part of the church, sharing with us regularly in worship and celebration of our faith, but also helped and taught in groups appropriate to their age and needs. At present there is a pre-school group, ‘Sparkles’ and Jesus Clubs for children who are at school.
The co-ordinator of our Children’s Ministry is Mrs. Di Daynes, who will be happy to talk with you about any particular matters of concern to you or your child.
