What we Believe
We are members of the Baptist Union of Great Britain and the Evangelical Alliance. Both of these sites have some excellent information about what Christians believe, and what the Baptist church is all about.

New Building Fund
Downs Baptist Church currently meets in Woodingdean Primary School. We have been looking to build a new church at the old Sunblest bakery site at the top of Falmer Road in Woodingdean but have been frustrated at every turn . We still hope to do so at some point in the future, but actively wait on what God will say and seek His timing.
