10 hardy souls walked in three groups around a short route in Woodingdean with a further group of 3 praying together at the final meeting place.
The aim of the initiative was to ‘Walk the Walk,’ to encourage each other and to pray for our community, that they might come to know the wonderful saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Overall everyone acknowledged that it had been a very blessed time not least because the weather forecast had been so bad prior to setting out but all that was encountered was a bit of drizzle! Every person felt that their contribution was Spirit led and valuable to the whole.
Over refreshments at the end it was felt that there would be great value in doing it again maybe quarterly covering different areas of Woodingdean each time. It was also suggested that we could ask members of the other churches in Woodingdean to join us.
The enthusiasm remained even when it was pointed out that the next one could be in November and the weather might not be so kind!
One thing we do know – Prayer changes things!
